A few things I've heard requests for purchase and didn't have answers for.
So how much is:
- A slave (for a Chelaxian, naturally)
- A familiar
- A diseased rat (I hope this is a joke)
- A skilled professional (scholars, artisans, and entertainers mostly)
- A singing messenger (for the barbarians' faction missions)
- A cohort (this has come up more than once in 4 man tables).

The easy answer is: if it's not on an approved equipment list, then it's not for sale. The long answer is:
*You can't buy a slave.
*Familiars are subject to their own rules system and are not purchased.
*To the best of my knowledge, the one thing our world lacks is a Diseased Rat Emporium. Purchasing one is impossible and even trying to make one goes way beyond the scope of Pathfinder Society Org Play.
*Skill professionals: table 4-1 on page 105 in the DMG.
*Hiring a singing messenger: table 4-1 on page 105 in the DMG (use Entertainer/Performer)
*There are no cohorts in PFS OP as is evidenced by the banning of the Leadership feat.

So then no Craft: Diseased rat skill huh?
Thanks for the info on professionals, I completely forgot it was covered.

Actually, slaves have universally been purchased by Andorans in the scenarios I've run, as a method of freeing them from whoever currently owns them.
Chelaxians in my games have done many questionable acts, but they haven't purchased slaves.
The easy answer is: if it's not on an approved equipment list, then it's not for sale. The long answer is:
*You can't buy a slave.
Faction mission in Murder on the Silken Caravan gives instructions on how to purchase a slave, and how much it costs. I have used this method and cost during other scenarios whenever the issue has arisen (eg, Slave Pits of Absalom).
Note, however, that my players have not attempted to bring purchased slaves with them on subsequent scenarios. It is assumed that they purchased slaves for the purpose of releasing them, and they haven't appeared again.
Other players may not be so altruistic, and have other intents, in which case I would probably refer to any rules relating to personnel management, eg hiring a skilled professional, or Pathfinder Society's ban on cohorts, both mentionend by Josh, whichever seemed appropriate for the situation at hand.

Does this equate to a literacy tax on the barbarians who have no way of knowing what their mission is without assistance?
Thankfully so far our few barbarians are in the company of fellow faction members (who help them out with the hard words), but it's hard to swallow spending cash for someone to read a third of a page to you.

You could always house-rule an "Illiterate" character trait or flaw that your barbarian could buy off with a point in Speak Language in order to read her diary and make her feel special again :-) or did her "diary" consist entirely of charcoal sketches?
