I have tried to DL PF 18 several times. The one with multiple chapter files. It DL's just fine, but when I extract it to the folder I want it in it tells me there is a file already there with the name, even though there wasn't until I tried to do the extraction, and I did delete it before each additional time I tried.
Then I hit "Try Again" several times, with no results.
However when I tried the version where it is all one file it worked fine.

That's a new one on me.
Have you tried extracting it to a different folder, or using a different unzipping utility?

Nope, but the one that worked just fine was extracted to the same file with the same utility as I tried to do the other file. I have a file/folder dedicated to my Paizo Pathfinders. So saving it to a different folder isn't something I want to do.

Why not extract it to somewhere temporary and move it to your normal structure?
Is this on windows? If so, go to folder options, check that view is set to show hidden and system files, and also that the tick box about 3 down from there is set to show the really secret files....then look again at the folder you are extracting to.....

Yes—please try both of things.
