Who responds by delivering a blinding lighting bolt into the pretty boy's face. By the end of the round, the storm has dissipated and the rest of the villians maddicks showed you stand there slightly bewildered for a moment, but quickly ready themselves to spring into action.

everyone

Spoiler:
That was pretty much the 3 people inside's chance to surprise the criminals. Etrigan didnt see thru the storm, Invincible attacked the weather mistress And the samurai surprised someone. Admittedly, this round went a little funky as i've had some computer problems and havent been able to post regurally over the last week, but now we get to the real action, the criminals are in full sight.

Male Human PL 10

Captain Invincible howls as he's zapped by lightning, while grappling with weather witch.

Tom Pitt

Spoiler:
Also make a fortitude save.

Male Human PL 10

Fort save 1d20+12=29

Male Human

Trailblaser attempts to get the cameras back on-line.

Gold Rush sweeps its gaze across the revealed enemies, looking for weapons or visible signs that would indicate what powers they possess. It selects the one that looks most likely to harm any remaining bystanders, and undertakes its namesake, attempting to slam into him or her with enough force to knock them off-balance.

Flavor text for a move and unarmed strike.
unarmed attack (1d20+10=14)

Samurai dashes forward at the villians as his ghostly sword moves through the air to take a better striking stances. He targets the one he has already damaged and slids to a stop as he slashes the blade down upon the villian.

Spoiler:

Knowing that the storm needs to go Pulse skates into range and unleashes a ball of lighting into the center of it, hoping to knock out the controller

Ball lighting roll 22

Etrigan Charges toward one of the villians with this sword.

GM

Spoiler:

as i pretty much misread what you wrote i can redo that action if ya like

Ok guy's i've been extremely busy/distracted as of late, so i'm gonna try to get a map up tommorow and we can move forward.

While TrailBlazer does all he can to get a camera feed, he soon discovers that the camera system is completely short-circuited.

Captain Invincible easily shakes off the damage of the lightning and thunder but is blinded by the brightness and deafened by the roaring thunder. In his dazed state, the weather mistress manages to slip free and flies out of the back office to join the fight outside, confident in incapacitating Tom Pitt.

The Samurai delivers a telling blow to The Bola, who responds by flinging a bola at his feet that explodes in a slick area of oil Make a strength check Samurai.

Firebug jettisons into the air above Etrigan and unleashes a blast from his flamethrower with no effect to the demon. Etrigan cleaves at Firebug, who reels from the hit.

Gold rush does his best to deliver a punch to the mad maple, who surprisingly avoids the blow and freezes the ground below Gold Rush Make a strength save Gold Rush

The huckster unleashes an all-too-corny laugh and some one liner about Jalapeño pie and throws a pie into the face of the Samurai. Make a fortitude save Samurai.

Pulse focuses his ball lightning so that it doesn’t catch his allies. That’s the yellow in the map. The villains cringe and welp at the shock.

The female in the back known as Looking Glass takes to the air and erects a barrier of mirrors around Pulse in retaliation, the images are distorted, much like that of a funhouse. Make a will save, Pulse.

Map

Zoomed in

EDIT:Goofed on the map, Weather Mistress should be right outside the back office, airborne about 10 feet up just between Pulse and Etrigan

on to round 2!

Male Human PL 10

Since I'm last I'll hold my post until others have gone. However, I'm not entirely clear if I'm free to act or dazed because of the thunder.

Spoiler:

1d20+0=9 - Strength Check

1d20+9=19 - Fortitude Check

Yea strength check

Strength check (1d20=8)

Male Human PL 10

Captain Invincible flies off after Weather Witch. When he reaches her he takes a swing at her.

"Hey Lady, I realize I'm dressed in my sweats right now, but you didn't have to run off like that. We were just getting to know eachother. Now I'm afraid I'm going to have to get a little rough with you. I don't like hitting ladies, but I'll make an exception for you."

attack roll: 1d20+8=13

Sorry. I thought I went near the bottom of the initative order.

"I'm sorry, Captain; it looks like the feed's been sabotaged manually. I don't think there's anything we can do here to regain the signal, but your men might be able to patch your monitors into the building's own archival back-ups; you'd be reading from an auxiliar signal they might not have thought to disable. And that assumes the cameras themselves are still working.

"I think I'm going to be needed inside to monitor the situation.

"With your permission, I'd like to set my transmission to your frequency, to keep you abreast of what I see in there."

I am *so* going to buy everybody else comm-links!

Maddicks agrees with Trailblazer’s Request.

The Samurai feels a slight stinging sensation in his eyes but manages to shake off any adverse affects; unfortunately, he loses his footing in the oil slick and falls to the ground.

Gold rush slips and falls hard on the frozen floor beneath him.

Tom Pitt swings but misses, his equilibrium still off from the thunder perhaps.

The demon Etrigan’s blow lands true as The Firebug falls to the ground, the heat master was out cold!

Pulse’s eyes glaze a bit as a he stands there babbling incoherently.

Pulse, you lose your action this round, everyone else, onto the next round!

Trailblazer wrote:

It's on my upgrade list...

GM: Do I need to make another check to stand up?

No, but it'll take a move action.

Pulse babbles to himself and stares at all the pretty lights

Quick as lightning, Gold Rush is on its feet again. "CONFLICT IS NEITHER PROFITABLE NOR NECESSARY. SURRENDER WOULD BE MOST WISE," it says, before launching into a series of blows that move so fast its fists are only visible as golden sparkles.

Strike (1d20+10=27)
If that hits, damage save DC is 23, and the Weather Witch must also make a DC 18 Fortude save or be stunned.

Male Human

On his turn, Trailblazer takes one of his Flash/bang grenades from his utility belt and moves to the doorway. What does he see?

He sees an ongoing battle, you can refer to the map i posted at the beginning of the previous round if you'd like, it's not changed much save for the weather witch and Tom Pitt being out of the office, and the Firebug has been dropped.

Male Human PL 10

Seeing that Goldrush is busy dealing with Weather Witch. Tom abandons his attack on her (especially since he doesn't like hitting woman. He instead flies up beside the fellow that tried to frost Goldrush to the floor, and he takes a big swing at him. He hovers in the air, so he doesn't have to worry about the slippery floor.

"You're the one that is going to be out cold villain," he says in a cheesy super hero voice.

His cell phone starts to ring. He wants to see who's calling, but resists for the moment.

Spoiler:
1d20+8=12

Another crappy roll

Samurai wipes his sword around from his prone position to release a blast of concentrated ki at the same man that he has targetted both times before.

Spoiler:

1d20+10=19 - Attack Roll
Is there some penalties for Ranged Attacks awhile prone? If so I did NOT include them and you should adjust.

I finally got it up and running but i had to reformat and lost some stuff, including the Adventure on PDF, so give me jus a little bit of time to find it again and i'll get things rolling again.

Alright Guys, I'm completely incapable of finding the adventure again. So unfortunately, i'm gonna have to Call this brief stint in Freedom City over. I'll look for the module in the future and if I ever decide to try and run it again, you guys will have first dibs on being in. If anything, i'll take this as a learning experience:Always back things up.
