How much (if any) of the options from Dragon and Dungeon magazines are considered OGL and are available for Paizo to reinterpret?
Some really great and balanced PRCs and Feats were created by Paizo writers while those two magazines were in print, and I for one would love to see them revised for Pathfinder. PRCs like the Rage Mage, nad Darkwood Stalker, and feats such as the Bloodline feats for Sorcerers, just to name a few. Are these considered to be WoTC property since they were published first in the magazines?

I believe one article in Dragon... MAYBE two over the course of both magazines' 3rd edition run was open. ALL of the rest of the material, including everything that ever appeared in Dungeon, is closed content and not available for us to use.
That said, a fair amount of the content we used in the magazines has analogues in 3rd Party publications, particularly in the Tome of Horrors. We couldn't use any of the content from 3rd party publishers in the magazine days but could use all of the WotC content... now, with Pathfinder, that's pretty much 100% reversed.
Of course, we're using the same writers and developers and editors we had during the magazine era on Pathfinder, so if you were a fan of what we did before the magazines' print existence ended, you'll probably be happy with what we've been doing since.

Thanks for the reply!
I have been pleased with the product from Paizo, so much so that abandoning 4E for Pathfinder was pretty much a no-brainer!
So far I have picked up quite a bit of pathfinder stuff, though only rarely the APs, since I run a home-brew pseudo-FR campaign (based on pre-4E source material). I did pick up the Gazetteer recently though, and am impressed with Golarion so far. Enough so that I am contemplating purchasing the Campaign Setting book with my next paycheck. Keep up the good work!

I originally posted this due to another thread wanting to expand the Eldritch Knight PRC to include advancement in other martial classes (ranger, paladin, barbarian) beyond just the Fighter class. Immediately, I thought of the Rage Mage PRC from Dragon, and how keen it would be to update the PRC with Rage Powers advancement as well. Any chances?

We'd be more likely to build a new class for a spellcasting barbarian, to be honest. The Eldritch Knight is already set up to be the fighter/wizard, basically, and that's his thing. A barbarian/wizard prestige class is a different beast. The rage mage is one great example, and it's still compatible with the PF RPG (with some tweaking). I suspect that some day we'll do our own version, since the idea is pretty cool.

Be warned Arnim! If you pick up the Campaign Setting book you're liable to get sucked into Paizo's clutches and give up your favorite world for Golarion. It happened to me after 25+ years of Greyhawk.

You almost make it sound like a bad thing.

I must say that happened to me too. I have run Greyhawk for the last 5 years and I must say Golarion is the only place our group will be playing for years to come.
Good job everyone at Paizo!
