So I'm considering adapting the Fey'ri to Golarion (the concept, anyway), and was wondering what others might do to adapt them. As for my own attempt, I'm taking away a few of their uber-benefits (in order to make them a bit more balanced compared to other races. There's still going to end up being an LA, but hopefully it won't be as huge), limiting their power options to a set number of powers like a tiefling would have, keeping the wings though.
Fluff-wise, I've been working on this idea of a demon-blooded line of elves known as Elodar, "fallen ones" in elven. They don't belong to any particular familial line, and are admittedly rare, enough that they're considered as mythical as Drow are. I had originally considered bird-like wings, though dark rather than the lighter hues associated with celestial beings, but I think I'm going to stick with the succubus-esque bat wings. Any thoughts?

Two ways to look at it in my view:
You could portray a Golarion version of FR's fey'ri as a type of elven tiefling, perhaps as a result of elves with the blood of a specific type or species of demon. They're rather strong, mechanically speaking, so I wouldn't use them as a default form of elven tiefling.
Alternatively, you could bring in the FR lore of it being a specific true-breeding (and inbred) line of elven tieflings who've intentionally sought to strengthen the fiendish aspect of their heritage by continued incorporation of demonic blood into their line. Plenty of room to create a specific (outcast) noble house to replace the Dlardrageth. Bringing in some Tree-Razer influence there isn't a bad option either. :)

While I like KaeYos' idea, (fey'ri named Auld, anyone?) don't forget the demonic incursion in the woods. Treerazor might have tried his hand at demon/elf crossbreeds, of they might have popped up as the result of just the warping energy of that many abyssal creatures nearby, and/or the worldwound.
Tangent Games' Children of the planes introduces the Korali planetouched, elf/succubus crossovers with a +1 LA. If you have a player who wants all the fey'ri toys, make a prestige class.

I actually had something like that in mind, with the character being a member of a (scattered) elven House that was exiled from Kyonin because of their demonic taint. And by "exiled" I mean chased out of the country while a good chunk of the House was slaughtered. I considered keeping the abilities as-is, too, but I'm trying to figure out what the LA would be when compared to the updated PF races.
and I think the Elodar would be something special and rare, not the general elven "tieflings", so no worries there.
