Hey I was wondering if there were any plans to set an AP in the far North of Avistan, like Land of the Linnorm Kings, Realm of the Mammoth Lords or Mendev? I think it would be awesome to do something with the Mordant Spire, Irrisen (Queen Elvanna), maybe ruined Edassaril (? realm of Envy), etc..wondering if anyone else is as interested as me...or if you Paizoians have any plans for something along these lines?

Absolutely!!! Bring me a Beowulf inspired grand adventure path among the vikings! Build it and I will come!
That entire region could be touched - but especially the Linnorm Kings!

I vote that this be made, and that at least part of it be written by Eric Bailey, RPG Superstar 2009 Top 4.

I thought I'd rekindle this thread with the flames of rumor and conjecture.
I see that the November release for the Pathfinder Player companion line is "People of the North" and that the December release for the Pathfinder Campaign setting is "Irrisen, Land of Eternal Winter". Now seeing as the last chapter of the Shattered Star Adventure Path is released in January, could we be looking at a possible Nordic themed adventure path for a February release? Then again, Paizo could just be timing their cold, wintry themed source books for a climate-themed Christmas season release. Thinking back, I believe Land of the Linnorm Kings campaign setting was released in November, so the wintry season = wintry products might just be good marketing sense.
What do you think? Anyone heard any rumors as to the next AP after Shattered Star?

To tide you over until such a time as Paizo decides to release a northern-themed AP, Frog God Games has The Northlands Saga which has a very strong Viking feel to it.
It's even available on the Paizo store.

Thanks Thorkull, I will definitely check them out. I'v been a sucker for Norse themed fantasy since reading Robert E Howards "the Frost Giants Daughter" back when I was 14 or so. My current Rise of the Runelords home game should be concluding around Christmas (finally after 3 years of Monday night gaming, and yes my players went off galavanting on lots of side quests), and a Linnorm King Ap would be icing on the cake for the Holiday season :)
