Warping Map Packs

Hi there.

I recently purchased and used for game play ye inns and ruins map pack. After very sort time and some normal use the car pieces have warped and will not sit flat. I also sort them in zip lock bag when not in use. Is this a common problem?

To be honest, this is the first I've heard of it.

In what manner are they warped? Did they get wet?

The short edges (picture the map pieces as rectangles) are curling up.

They have not gotten wet but I do live in the tropics.

The are placed flat when in use and stored in zip lock bags that are again placed flat.

They have flatten out some what after placing heavy books on them.

My theory is the change in temperature and humidity cause the side with the ink on it to contract. This "bending" effect happens to card that has ink on one side and not the other... or less ink/gloss.
