Where can I buy products of your partner Necromancer Games?

Hi there,

I see that Paizo cooperates with Necromancer Games.
There is a separate message board section for Necromancer Games.

But where can I buy Necromancer Games in the Paizo Store?
The Paizo store doesn't offer pdfs or print products.

Why does Paizo not offer Necromancer Game products?
There are other online shops offering Necromancer pdfs. But preferrably I would like to buy at Paizo.

Thanks in advance for your answer!

Cheers,

In the past, Necromancer has had publishing partnerships White Wolf, Kenzer, and Troll Lord Games; at paizo.com, we carried their products under both Necromancer and either White Wolf, Kenzer, or Troll Lord (the publishers of record) as appropriate. The print products that were published by White Wolf and Troll Lord are no longer available, and only two of the Kenzer/Necro products remain available.

As for the PDFs, while Necro was being published by White Wolf, WW had intimate ties to a particular PDF retailer, and that retailer retained the exclusive rights to resell Necromancer's PDFs. (That PDF retailer operates under a couple of different domain names, but they're really just one company.)

A similar situation exists with Malhavoc Press.

Paizo would certainly like for both of these situations to change; perhaps that will be possible in the future.

Hello Vic,

thanks for the update!
Hopefully you will eventually get the rights to publish products of both companies.

similar but unrelated, where can I find a hard copy of the tome of horrors? I see it referenced in pathfinder modules but cannot find a hard copy, admittedly my googlefu is weak.

EBAY has it.

That's a full $50 less than I paid for my copy roughly two years ago. The book's getting hard to find.

Tome of Horrors was a 3.0 book, and was never reprinted in 3.5. If you want it updated to 3.5 the only way to get it is in PDF form. the hardcover form is still available on ebay, but only in 3.0

The PDF is called Tome of Horrors (Revised) for the 3.5 update.

thanks for the link, I have the MMII so why should I care if tome of horrors is 3.0 as well. I can't wait till I have the money to get it. Man, now is the time to buy d20 stuff, thank you wizards for getting out of the 3.x game and letting better hands steward it forward.

If you want to save some money, you might still be tempted to purchase the pdf:

- price = 10$$ + printing + binding = ca. 35 $$. No draw back because both versions are black and white only.
- pdf = 3.5 rules
- pdf = clearer layout (mostly one page per monster).

DriveThruRPG and RPGNow are just different "skins" for the same reseller—but Necromancer PDFs are still exclusive to them, so they're your only option.

You know I thought as much. Anywho looks like it's hard copy for me.
