I just got the first two books of Curse of the Crimson Throne and I was most eager to look at the Nosferatu vampire.
In looking at the template, I have a few questions. If they're answered somewhere else in the book, I would appreciate being directed to them.
The template and sample Nosferatu don't explicitly state a Create Spawn ability of any kind. The AP does mention a Nosferatu NPC perhaps inflicting someone with vampirism, but it doesn't say how anywhere that I saw.
Do Nosferatu spread their vampirism through their Blood Drain the same way as normal vampires? Do they have any means to create vampire spawn? They don't have the energy drain ability of normal vampires, so would they still be able to create vampire spawn (presumably Nosferatu vampire spawn?) through Blood Drain if the victim is less than 5 HD?
Or is all this up to DM discretion?
