Has anyone gotten to take a look at the Warden yet? I have not, I hope to check it out when I get home from work. Any teasers to get me through the day?
Looks like a lot of fun. Primal defender, as expected. Does less damage than other defenders, has some hybrid controller aspects.
ALl the level-1 dailies are polymorph powers -- taking a new form and getting some nice boosts for the duration of the encounter, as well as 1/encounter special attack.

Mechanically, looks pretty interesting. Gets to use Con or Wis modifier to AC when in light armor, but will likely still end up lower AC then other Defenders (since Fighters and Paladins are in heavy armor, and Swordmages are in light armor with a primary AC stat, rather than a secondary AC stat.) Makes up for this with tons of hitpoints - and the ability to shrug off painful effects, which I see as very, very strong.
Seems a bit easier to avoid than the other defenders - he gets an immediate interrupt to punish marked enemies, just like the fighter does. Unlike the fighter, he can't punish them for shifting or halt them if they move away, so is easier to escape. Here's the catch - if they are out of range of his standard punishing attacking, he can instead use a different one that won't due damage, but will pull them back to him, slow them down, and stop them from shifting on their next turn - meaning they might avoid him for one round, but not two in a row!
All in all, I like the look of the class, and continue to be impressed with them being able to fill the same role with classes that remain fundamentally unique from each other, both conceptually and mechanically.
