Twilight Zone Marathon

Television

Hell Yeah.

Sci-Fi Channel does this every New Year's Eve.

This is great TV.

If there are any fans out there who are interested, here is a schedule.

I ended up watching a lot of them.

No cable this year *sad face*.

But I LOVE that SciFi does this. I watch these religiously. I'll skip a few of em: the Aunt Esmerelda vs the tiny US invaders, the pretty girl that cant catch a break in surgery, "To Serve Man", and the one where the Earth is getting to close to the sun and a couple others.

but

The one with the last librarian, Mr Wordsworth!
Kirk scared of the carpet monster on the wing and the other one with him believing a devilish fortune teller!
Jack Elam's crazy eye distracting the viewer from the REAL aliens!
Talking Tina!
Monsters on Maple Street!
the pilot ep with one man in a land of mannequins
and

"That's not fair. That's not fair at all. There was time now. There was all the time I needed... ! It's not fair!"

I would watch again and again.

Liberty's Edge

This is my favorite channel (except when they show WWE and Law and Order--what either have to do with Sci-Fi is beyond my mortal brain), and I love the New Year's and 4th of July TZ marathons! I also appreciate that they've conducted the TZMs since 1993 ( the year I graduated HS, by the way).

"I'm talking Tina, and I'm going to kill you"

awesome. I had heard all about this episode but this was the first time I'd ever seen it.

Evil Doll + Kojak = Pure entertainment.

But my favorite episode is still, "A Nice Place to Visit"

Liberty's Edge

I like "How to Serve Man."

Scarab Sages

The Obsolete man is my favorite, also staring Burgess Meredith. Link

The Exchange

I love the episode where Jack Klugman is a trumpet player who meets the Angel Gabriel. It is kind of like "It's a Wonderful Life," but a lot less tedious. Klugman's acting in that episode is so full of soul.

I happen to like the Agnes Moorhead episode (Old Lady vs. Flying Saucer), but I can understand that it is not to everyone's taste.

I liked "Serve Man" and "Invaders", but it seems Ive seen them too many times. Somehow those dont hold up for me. I think the Simpsons killed "Serve Man" with Lisa and one ofthe aliens blowing layers of dust off the book to funnier and funnier titles. Forgot about the gangster/conman guy who gets everything he wants and thinks its heaven. AWESOME! Oh and the one with Klugman and horn was amazing!

Also a couple more that I love. Klugman vs Winters in a game of pool! and one that usually breaks me up, Ed Wynn making one last pitch to save a girl's life. oh, and the really weird one with the confederate soldier hanging!

And there was one where three pilots return from a strange trip and then theres only two and nobody even remembers the third one (pic in newspaper is different) and then theres only ONE...

I have to say my favorite episode was "He's Alive", which starred a young Dennis Hopper as a neo-nazi that is being guided by the spirit of Adolph Hitler. A very chilling episode.

Liberty's Edge

One of my favorite episodes is "The Howling Man."
