Just thought I'd say that.

I checked his profile (and all his aliases) and he hasn't posted since August. I miss his commentary, his presence, his sense of humor.

McCartor, come home!

Liberty's Edge

Anyone ever hear why he left or what he is doing now? I think there was talk that he would still continue to freelance for Paizo right?

Scarab Sages

He worked recently with Wolfgang on Kobold Quarterly and/or Open Design. So he's still around.

Mike did some work for us on the upcoming Dragons Revisited book coming out in February. So he is still doing some freelance, even if he isn't around as much.

Thanks for the update Lisa.

The Exchange

We all wish him the best in whatever he is doing now but we do so miss his presence here.

Good Ninja Minion

*sniffles*
The gninja work has dried up without Master Mike around.

Contributor, RPG Superstar 2008 Top 16

Me too. Mike was the editor who handled most of my stuff for Dragon so he and I exchanged a lot of emails over the years.

He's a great guy and I hope he's doing well.

Mike's gone? Does that mean no more ninja dragons?
YAYYYY!!
I mean, 'that's a shame'.
Seriously though, I hope he returns. Things aren't the same without him.

I will send Mike an e-mail this weekend and tell him that a certain Kobold has missed him. But the last time we talked, he sounded VERY burnt out from all the work that he did here. (Not that he minded it, but the long hours did wear him out. 50 to 60 or more hours a week will do that too you.) Give him some time. I am sure that eventually he will show up again.

Sovereign Court

Me too. I talked and gamed with him at Paizocon and found him to be a very likable guy. Mike, come to the Paizocon 2009 and I'll buy you lunch!
