Entrance of the Star Tower in Skeletons of Scarwall

Okay, looking at the map, I can't quite figure out how the party is supposed to get to the entrance to the Star Tower, room 40. I know there is a phase door, but how do they get to it? The map just kind of has room 40 all by itself.

Good question; I'm glad you asked.

Room 40 is not actually the entrance to the Star Tower that the party will likely use. The entrance you're seeking was inadvertantly left off the map during the final production. There should be a secret door in the alcove behind the statue in room 37 leading to the audience chamber (area g) just east of room 41. Unfortunately a couple of doors within the Star Tower were likewise left off the map making its internal workings somewhat incoherent. There should be a secret door between area g and room 41. There should also be a secret door between area g and the small room at the base of stairwell S20. There should also be a normal door leading from the room at the base of S20 to area B at the top of stairwell S16. I hope that all makes sense.

Thanks Greg A. Vaughan. My party will most likely not ally with the Brotherhood of Bones so this answered a lot questions.

The 'door' into room 40 is on the Southeastern wall (closest to the adjoining roof). Per the description this is where Zon-Kuthon's lovely visage is.

The only likely way for the party to reach this is via some sort of flight. I agree though that it is a lesser likelihood for actual entry.

Edit: This section of the map is the "Third Floor" of the startower/castle donjon area, if that helps you imagine where it is located in relation to the rest of the castle.
