I've got players who wants to play dwarves/dwarfs in Cotct and Rotrl and they've asked me for background info and frankly, I couldn't really come up with much.
I know that they pushed the orcs up from the the darklands in their quest for the sky, but what about the present?
Are dwarfs any different from the ones in Forgotten Realms, and if so, in what way? are there any Paizo books on the subject (There's a book 'bout the elves in Kyonin)
Any thoughts...?

Easiest thing right now is have them download the organized play guide. it has descriptions and characteristics for each race/class fitting into the world

The player's guides to both campaigns have a little bit on how each race might fit into the story in that part of the world. Additionally, both the Gazetteer and Campaign Setting have writeups of all the races and there's overall feel in this campaign world, so you might want to check one of them out.

The Campaign Setting's the place to go for information about dwarves, really. We've got a bit more in the various player's guides, but those skew toward information usable for specific adventures, and aren't as useful in a more generic way.
That said, all of Golarion's creatures are pretty much 100% compatible with core D&D, be it Forgotten Realms or Mystara or Greyhawk or whatever. If there's dwarf flavor in a FR book you like, it should transplant easy.

Thanks to all of you-
Just got the setting on my way to work- it's morning now in København (Copenhagen).now I just have pretend that I'm working...
flipped through the book- looks great! (though the cover looks a bit odd. great art and colors, but, did something nasty happen in Photoshop?).
I've got a ton of Forgotten Realms books, so I'll go there for flavour, though I think maybe it should be a little darker than FR.
