General fan fiction rules.
They're long winded
Poorly Written
Full of Mary sues...
Oh, wait, you meant legal rules. Since Golarion is Paizo's IP, I don't know.
I'm getting ready to write up 'Hydra's Fang' with some flourishes for my own entertainment, but I don't expect it to go any further than my hard drive and friends reading.

I expect a response saying something along the lines of:
-Pathfinder/Campaign setting/Golarion are IP
-They're going to have a separate license for it eventually
-Please refrain from publishing it until such timeor something like that..
I think also that you can't make money from it.

We are. Tis slow going, but eventually we'll have guidelines that show how to handle fan fiction, fan adventures set in Golarion, and other stuff. It'll probably be more open and permissible than a lot of folk expect... I've got my fingers crossed that it will be, at least, because fan support is Good. :-)

We've finished our draft and passed it to our lawyer to make sure we're not doing anything stupid... we also have to work on a couple of small things on our end, but I suspect we'll have something ready to roll out in January.

Thanks for the reply. The thing is, I think that fan fiction can be a good thing from a publisher's standpoint. Just look at Eric Flint's Ring of Fire series and twenty published fan fiction based collections, which include stories and different kind of articles. Perhaps one day we will have literary contest along the RPG Superstar lines...
