Question on monster attk entries

Hello,

This is what it says:

Attk: Melee 2 claws +11 (1d6+10)

Spec. Ability: Improved Grab (Ex) To use this ability, a revenant must hit with both claw attacks against a target of equal or smaller size. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can constrict.

Perhaps I'm having a momentary lapse of reason, but does this creature get two attacks, both claws as a full attack? There is no "full attack" entry. I assumed when a melee attack said "2 claws" that it simply meant 1 total attack, unless it was noted as a "Full attk" option.

Can anyone help with a clarification? Thank you!

It means the monster attacks with 1 claw when making a standard attack, and makes two attacks (1 claw + 1 claw) when using the Full Attack action.

I concur.

That would make sense, thanks!
