Does Seelah ever wear her helm ? No illustration in any book that i own shows her wearing it (a very amusing feat given her backstory).
She generally doesn't wear the helm, for an in-character reason and a real-world reason.
IN CHARACTER: The helm is a symbol of the most important change in her life, and as such it's not something that she wants to wear until she feels she's earned the right to wear it; a right that she has to earn by bringing enough hope to the world to make up for what she robbed Acemi the chance to do.
REAL WORLD: If the helm's on, it's harder to see her face and tell who she is in the art.

She has actually had it on a couple of times.
I cannot recall precisely where, of course.
I think it was mostly in the "murals" on the Curse of the Crimsone Throne covers. Generally whenever she's not really the character the picture is focusing on.
You are right, i failed a spot check on that, in the cover of Seven Days to the Grave she is wearing it. It´s just that she drags that thing around but never seems to wear it, even with what Jaimes said it would appear that she´s only trying to die the same way Acemi did...
Hmmm, she is a EMO paladin.
