and the golorian year changes when ours does, so anything that comes out after January with me considered taking place in 4709
Correct.
We assume that, in game, each Adventrue Path takes 6 months to start and end. But since we can't assume that every group that plays it takes 6 months to go from 1st level to 15th, we avoid attaching any dates to the adventures in print, leaving it so that each adventure path can start and end whenever the individual GM wants. Or, frankly, in any order he wants.

Small Second Darkness spoiler
This is already causing a bit of issue with our games as Shalelu is married to a RotRL character and we did a 5 year time-jump with that (and will be doing another 15 year time jump in RotRL soon) so we've had to work Second Darkness to take place during the time jump.

Age isn't the problem, it's the fact that the character in 4708 is with Shalelu, they're at Fort Rannick together, and she's pregnant =p.
We could've just made it a 'different' Shalelu but that sounded silly, so instead we just decided that Second Darkness starts in 4713 where it will fit into the RotRL timeline.

In this situation the easy fix is to just change the name of the "Shalelu" in the new adventure, of course. She doesn't HAVE to be the same elf.
