Something I thought of as I read through and didn't see anything about it.
Spoiler:
Ok if the players fill some bottles (or whatever) with salt water, can they use them as thrown splash weapons on the Akata? I am guessing so with the description saying "even a splash can cause 1d6 of damage". So would the rules be about the same as acid flask? (my guess is as the players see the Akata fry in the water after the "tower fall" they may workout salt water as a weapon.

Are the larval akata vulnerable to salt water as well? Is there a way to cure void death infection with salt water, such as drinking it or performing surgery and applying it to the parasite directly?
this is actually pretty smart and my barbarian player has been asking about this treatment option lately ever since he got infected. I would recommend perhaps giving a +2 fort save bonus against the disease for enduring a saltwater in the wounds treatment.

Brings new meaning to rubbing salt in the wound now doesn't it?
