I have an interesting problem. The players befriended Angvar and Thuvalia after they successfully escaped after the job was botched. Only to be later caught again trying to flee from Riddleport.

After they caught them they sat them down and questioned them a bit then offered them a job to work for the golden goblin. They agreed for 2 main reasons one because they were going to be paid, second reason they wanted to get on there good side cause the kicked their butts not once but twice.

Since they agreed they had to ask Saul for permission to hire them, and they started the conversation with "you know those people that tried to steal the prize money... I want to hire them." Saul told the party no and wanted them nowhere near the Goblin.

With Saul saying no they plan on paying for a room at another inn and try sneaking them into employment at a later time.

My question Is do you think Saul would take measures to remove the so called bandits, or do you think he would not stir the pot more than he already has planed in the adventure?

I think he'd use his underworld contacts to find out where they were staying and then rat them out to the gendarmes for the attempted heist (along with a hefty bribe to make sure they were "disappeared" while in custody at the Devil's Fork).
