I know I'm on day 12 of the 8-17 business days but I have to ask. Why does it take so long to ship? I mean 8-17 business days just to ship? I was wondering if there was even a point to higher shipping rates as you could get next day delivery but if you have to wait 8-17 days it doesn't really matter. I've pretty much chalked this up as an item that will arrive by the 17th of October. Over a month after making the order. I can accept that, but I'm curious as to the why, I wanna watch my Gamers 2! :-P

On the product description page of every item in the store is a line that says "Usually ships from our warehouse in X to X business days". This estimate is based on how long it will take to bring that particular item into our warehouse from our distributor. Different items will have different estimates, but the most common you will see are either "3 to 6 business days" or "5 to 11 business days".
When you place an order which contains several items, we will not ship the order until every item has come in, and we can ship it all together (backorders and preorders are different and will usually ship separately). Therefore, if you have one item which takes a long time to come in from the distributor, then the whole order will wait.
This is what happened with your order. Most of the items on your order had an estimate of 3 to 6 business days, but "All Flesh Must be Eaten" has an estimated shipping time of 8 to 17 business days so this was the shipping estimate of your entire order.
The good news is: Your order shipped out this morning!
