I have an opening in my PBP,
Rise of the Kobold King. If you like what who have read, then send me a line and we'll get started.

I'm interested. Only thing is that I'm at work and really tied up this evening, so it might take me a day or two to get a decent character created with background and stuff. I'm currently only in one other PbP, and shouldn't have any problem with posting daily. Let me know!

Coralee - Gnome Cleric (flash_cxxi)
Drint - Kobold Rogue (Kobold Cleaver)
Fjyndel - Gnome Druid (Franz Lunzer)
Quince - Halfling Sorcerer (SargonX)
Quirk - Pixie Ranger (Oliver von Spreckelsen)

Girther - Dwarven Fighter (Manpig) has gone awol.

So if you can play a 3rd level character that complements the "short" theme, you're in.

Sure. I'm guessing another fighter-type is preferred? Off the top of my head, I'm thinking maybe a dwarf barb/ftr ("battlerager" archetype, or something). Couple of questions:

- What point buy?
- If I did go the ftr/barb route, would you use the rage points or the newer system Jason and co. posted here?
- What starting money/equipment would I have?
- Would me having everything done by tomorrow evening (I'm on American EST; the Detroit, MI area) be OK?

Yes, the high fantasy should do.

hmmm... There is no real Caster in the party, so I might try my hand at an Arcane Class.

Do you have the Miniatures Handbook? There is a PrC I have been wanting to try from that called Bonded Summoner. Basically it replaces your Familiar with an Elemental who gradually gets more powerful as you advance in the PrC.

Yeah, I wanted to try a Skarn Crusader.

As you don't have the MoI, how about a Half-giant Crusader?

Edit: thinking about it, I can see a problem with a half-giant in RotRL, as far as I know it... (have not played it though)

Either Wizard or Duskblade (with the Obtain Familiar Feat).
What are your thoughts on the Precocious Apprentice Feat from p.181 of Complete Arcane? If I make a Duskblade I am toying with this idea to splash into either 2 levels of Fighter or two levels of Rogue. This is just a thought at this stage as I can still do Bonded Summoner with no problem using just a Duskblade.

Cool. I'll decide which Class to take and make the character up. I think I will go with that Race, even tough it costs me a level. I like the idea from a back story perspective concerning the PrC choice (not that I'll hit that PrC for quite some time yet).
