I'm no Hugo, Lilith, or Shiny, but I'd be happy to do some PC art for some folks. I'm more on the cartoony side, with an emphasis on paper minis, but it seems to be popular enough.

Art samples available here, for the curious.

I want mine done by you N'wah, luv your style.

Pretty simple
A fully cloaked figure -batman-like with a plain mirrorlike mask that only shows the eyes. You would make me happy if you do it like one on your minis.

What do you say?

Wow, being put in juxtaposition with Lilith and Hugo is quite the compliment! Your art is great, man!

By the way, is your username a Morrowind reference?

I'll see what I can whip up, definitely! I'm low on bristol at the moment, but tomorrow's pay day/my only day off, so I should be able to make to to the art store. Hmm... need more pens too.

Mirror-like mask, you say? Never played with mirrors too much. This should be interesting...

Sir, you compared me to the immortal Kyle Hunter. It's the least I could do. :)

And yeah, it is. I'm awful at trying to come up with user names an e-mail addresses and such. In fact, my gmail address is you.swit, if that tells you anything. I've got a bad Elder Scrolls addiction. I just hope Bethesda doesn't shoot me or something.

I don't meant the whole mini, base and all, just the drawing as one of your minis... It would be difficutl to get it here down to Mex.

Hey Hugo, I checked out some of your work on Deviantart - awesome stuff man! I'm looking forward to checking out more of your character drawings.

Thanks a lot! Tomorrow will appear a new one (tonight most likely)

I had quite the Elder Scrolls addiction myself, once. Sadly, I don't really have time for video games anymore...

Oh, I hear you. I was worried that my first commission (from a gentleman in England) would need to be shipped. Thankfully not. But I do my art on plate bristol all the same, and my pens are dying. I can clean it up a bit on the computer, but I'm much more experienced with pen and paper, and I don't want to mess it up with bad line art. I'll whip up some art as soon as I can; probably tomorrow evening.

Any more details you can spare? Height, weapons/lack of weapons, armor, etc.? As you know, detailed descriptions are good. :)

N'wah wrote:

Ill make it very easy: A full cloacked figure Nothing showing but the mask with arms crossed (under the cloack of course) and the hood a bit pointy in the top and a bit in front of the mask. Pointy too. If you can leave the mask totaly clear its ok. Only black batman-like eyes showing. If you want to add details maybe the cloak in black. Also a cool, adorned double sword in the back may add a nice detail to the simple figure.

This enuff?

I hear that, brother. I used to work at a video game store; now I couldn't tell you what's coming out this month if my life depended on it. Though I did log in some serious Oblivion play-time before it killed my XBox 360.

Sweet! I'll get cracking on it when I get started on Hugo's.

Freak out...
my 3 year old daughter, she got a brush and started farting around and pretending to paint. She'd come up and say, "look what I paint," imaginary pictures. So my wife says, duuh,...you want some paints?
So she paints 3 1/2 hours at a time and takes a ten minute break.
She wakes up in the morning b~~!*ing and moaning because she wants to start painting, and my wife has to take them to drop off brother at school. She paints all day.

Have her paint a werewolf to post up. :D

I know, right?

And afterwards a Tin Man!

Tarde pero seguro!

Here it is Jason

Brand the Wizard.

I put more items on this one to make it more interesting since he doesn't carry heavy weapondry or armor. I kept the staff very simple to make enphasis on the "thin" part and gave it a "twist" to to leave it too simple. Unfotunately I stared Brand a bit smaller than the last twon and that made all the detailing much more difficult.

I'm adding also a small Sketch development in the Sketch gallery.

I hope you like it Jason!

I say this again, I hope the folks at Paizo are watching this thread!

Wow.. Jeez.. Holy.. I don't know what to say! That's amazing! Many times better than I could have imagined! Thank you!

You must be made of Paizo.. I know it..

Okay so I have had no luck with image searches and I suck at drawing, so I am going to ask whomever is interested in this board. My character is a Half-Orc Paladin. He is muscular in build wears banded mail (will eventually be plate so if you want to draw him in plate mail feel free) wielding a masterwork dwarven heavy pick and his shield bears the image of a Lamasu in flight. He wears a spellbook on his belt that is actually a journal. If someone would be willing to draw that please say so, I'll take whomever will draw it, my preference is for realistic drawings over cartoony, but like I said I will happily accept any takers so feel free to use whatever style you prefer.

More info about me can be found in my profile

Hey guys, I'm Heraguv, I just wanted to agree that the wizard looks amazing.

My style is probably not right for you then, Lilith seems to have a more realistic look to her work that should work.

Just one question, is a hooded rat a species, or is it a rat that wears a hood? An if it does wear a hood, does it also wear a cape and cowl? ;p

Liberty's Edge

Lilith: my color version of Radik is done, but I still have to upload it. Stay tuned.

VarisianWanderer: I'm getting to your other two commissions, I swear.

I'd be more than happy if you drew it, like I said I have a preference for real but I saw your work and I would like my character just as much if you drew it.

Uhh, not to sound pushy and all. I know by begging, I don't exactly put myself in a position to demand or even expect, but was anyone planning to sketch my BARD from a few pages back?

I will probably give it a shot but I'm not sure when, maybe by the weekend.

CJack was supposed to be working on it. But he may be slacking off in some cave or lumber consortion somewhere.

EDIT: Damn he beat me to it...

Hahahah! Take that, froggie!

I have long tried to get better at digital inking, but the pen tool (in Photoshop) is sooooo time consuming and my patience wears thin when I use it...but damn I get some clean lines when I use them! Illustrator continues to mystify me. There is a program, Manga Studio, which has auto-correcting pencil and ink tools, which is awesome for people with shaky hands (like me), though I'm still fiddling with the sensitivity settings on my Wacom to help out with that.

I love love love love my Wacom. If you can afford it, get any of the Intuos line - they're much more sensitive to hand pressure. The entry level Bamboo is perfectly serviceable.

Lilith wrote:

Good tip! and also thanks again for the precious Wacom tip...I sooo live in a cave... All coloring I do is in vectors. (AI, CDR) I ink the image, the scanned it in B/W then Trace it to vectors and then fix it up a bit. Its tedious and not my favorite style but prettymuch all I'd had done so far. Hopefully soon I'll get my wacomn (already saving!) and start coloring in photoshop as you do.

If anyone wants to draw up the character behind this profile, I would love it. He's a gnome who was born without their magical abilities, so doesn't have all of the youthful brillience that most gnomes have. This makes him rather earth-toned, and a little more gruff (dwarf-like) than other gnomes.. He carries a bow and short sword, and is always carving walking sticks. *click on the picture for the rest of his background*

just in case I loose track of this thread... my email is e-gendron(at)Charter(dot)net

Thanks!
Cpt_Kirstov

Hey fellow artists (if we can be called so...), please join up and grab a "commision"!!!

I'd love to do you gnome but I'm full up with Osirion characters... (rangers are a common creature in the desert) and can't take more until I'm done.

did anyone actually volunteer to take my commision? I'm not sure if callous jack volunteered since he said lilith would probably fit my style more but she hasn't said anything on the topic so am I still open for an artist? I don't want to keep pestering if someone is planning to or already is working on it.
