A player of mine just joined the Sable Company. With another character starting in the Korvosa Guard (we're at 4th level now, in the Plague area) I wanted to get opinions on how to handle the Sable. They lack a Seneschal to report to, so I can likely see them helping the Guard out in the day to day task, but am unsure on how to go about with their 'recruitment'. Do they have a kind of boot camp? Do soldiers get trained on horses first, or do they go straight to hippogriffs? What kind of person exactly is the Commandant?
There's only so much information about the SC in the Guide to Korvosa, so anything else I can find out about them would be great, even if they do get
