I am coming back but I don't know how willing are the current players to accept me. I was trying to read the whole thread but it was really convoluted so I have some offers to you:
1) You kick my ass and ask me to leave the game (you have the right to do it).
2)The current GM goes ahead and fits the Batman when he can.
3)Let's starts from the point I left and assume that all the new players were presents in the events.
4)Let's start an all-new adventure.

I am still waiting for Pong to tell me his tale; how he originated as a super hero; if he is unwilling to do that; I will ask any present; or if no one is present; to join me at the park; I would like to check out the park that the Ice Witch was at; she seems an enigma.
That is; if there is not other pressing news or matters.
Who would be the gamemaster? The person playing Batman? I'm a little confused on the GM proposal here.
No problem for me, the current DM can continue and I can only play as Batman.

"And finally we have confirmation that the famed Monster Hunters were released around midday today apparently unharmed by their encounter with the villain known as the Ice Witch. The group released a joint statement claiming that their activities were not as previously mentioned as endangering the city but completely unrelated to the series of explosions that marred last night and caused the destruction of New Proverbial's new police division headquarters as well as extensive damage to the district surrounding the freeway," the announcer explained.

MEANWHILE..................
She looked down from her perch on the rooftops overlooking the abandoned museum.
Last night she had strayed from the park when she felt the first of the explosions, encountering that band of morons being chased from the museum hadn't been part of her nightly vigils but when they started cutting loose with the heavy ordinance she had no choice but to disable them before they hurt someone even if it were the wildlife in the park.
Well the nonhuman part anyway she admitted to herself.
However the destruction wasn't part of her ideal nightlife and the subsequent arrival of paramedics and fire engines made her avoid putting out the fire's since the regular authorities seemed a little too well armed for her liking.
A few nights a month she had to endure these changes and usually she made a point of staying as far as possible from civilisation, but unlike the corporations she had to earn her living and that meant spending a few nights somewhere isolated to avoid the repercussions of being a one woman ice age...
Last night however whoever had sent those monster hunters fleeing had real power, enough that it worried her why he was messing with New Proverbial, she wasn't sure if this villain was a magician or some power mad meta but with only two more nights to wait out she decided checking things out for herself might prevent another holocaust like last night.
Fortunately her day job gave her free time to look into the matter on the internet it was simple to find a site and post a few suggestions towards the old abandoned museum as holding a few secrets that had been left undiscovered and even simpler to coax others to look into it claiming someone else had posted the original rumour.
She hoped it would bring the maniac out of hiding so she could stop him causing any more destruction but there was also a chance it might bring out others but she could avoid them as long as that lunatic didn't show... if he did though she would be ready....

"So any orders from the chapterhouse?" Vernon asked.
The tall and otherwise physically perfect aristocrat frowned at his manservant even as he continued with his exercise routine.
"Relax we will hear from them when they're ready," a tall stuesque woman answered him from the bar.
The immense skyscraper was one of a relative few not owned by Wayne Enterprises but few knew it also served as a base for the Monster Hunters Society.
Formed in the early Victorian era as a successor to the Dragon Hunter's Society the advent of the metahuman had drawn their eyes even as they plotted, stole and pillaged their fortunes using occasional good will missions to keep their reputation in the eyes of the world as a reputable band of heroes their true purpose had always been to fulfil their own ambitions and to keep their place in the hierarchy pf the world.
However last night they had not only failed to stop some miserable east european warlock from stealing some of the trinkets they had their eyes on, their attempt to cover up their dishonour by eliminating the only witnesses failed when some former Serbian war criminal left them as ice sculptures to be picked up by the tardy authorities.
It had taken well beyond noon for their swift recovery by their brethren and the time since then had been spent in retrospection and humiliating briefings to explain their losses.
"Master, a call for you," Vernon's manservant approached with a phone on a platter.
"Yes?" Vernon asked as he picked up the phone and listened before passing the phone back.
"Well?" his female companion asked from the bar.
"Word has reached our brethren's ears regarding that warlock's location, when you're ready we'll head on out to see if he obliges us with a rematch," Vernon replies stopping his routine long enough to use a towel to wipe the sweat from his brow and then leaves the room swiftly followed by the woman.
The manservant stayed where he was waiting for the door to shut behind him.
"They took the bait?" a shadowy voice asked from the corner of the room.
"Yes milord," the manservant replies before concentrating on his task and begins to clean up the room.
In the corner the shadowy figure laughs softly before fading out of sight once more...

Baron Mordo curses to himself as he paces in his underground lair.
Last night had proven fruitless for not only was he beaten to the artefacts he had sought from the museum but then when he thought he'd located the thief he had been chased off by a group of neophytes!
He stopped as someone sighed.
"What is it!" Mordo turned his hands already preparing a spell.
"It appears your quarry is hiding out at the old abandoned museum, some of the guards hired to stop you last night are moving to check the site as we speak, if you hurry you might be able to obtain your relics before its too late..." the shadowy figure explained.
The figure then gasped as Mordo completed his spell and dragged the figure out into the light.
"I do not care for shenanigans!" Mordo cursed as he stared at his visitor.
"N-neither do I..." the visitor coughed as his body suddenly fell apart.
Stunned Mordo watched as it formed a new body nearby.
"I have many surprises this drone being one of them, I do hope you keep your rendevous tonight Baron as I doubt you'll have another chance at Fate's helmet..." Mechimera grinned as he released his new body and disappeared.

Somewhere in the port on a former battleship now in the harbor being prepared officially to be scrapped.
Within its enclosed interior now a fully prepped base along with a hangar, labs and living quarters one such luxurious apartment the Commander is looking out into the heart of his secret base.
"Well?" the Commander asked the quartet standing behind him trying to look as small as they could to avoid his furious gaze.
"No sign," Nitrogen replied.
"I sent you to acquire a boy and you couldn't even hold off a nonpowered fool!" the Commander cursed.
"We tried but he received help when we finally got him alone..." another figure cringed.
"Yes I know, we have little time for this, but if we are to save this city we must retrieve my errant great nephew before our enemy realises who he is!" the Commander sighed.
"Perhaps if we knew why...?" Nitrogen asked.
"Why? when those idiots forcibly manifested his power he gained the one ability we never even dreamed of... and its only a side effect! but it has proven its effectiveness after all he gave all four of you the slip at least long enough for those three heroes to turn up out of nowhere so I'd say thats proof enough!" the Commander cursed.
"But what of Batman?" Nitrogen asked.
"He is nothing more than a distraction, as long as Mechimera is on the loose none of us is safe," the Commander hissed.
"No you're not..." some agreed as a figure loomed out of what had been a communications console.
"FLEE!" the Commander screamed as the room blew up....

> Off the top of my head you could say whilst underwater your vibratory powers are splitting the molecules of water around you creating air for your character to breath but at the cost that it doesn't work when unconscious.

A rumour leaked on the internet has suggested that the old abandoned museum just three blocks away from the auxiliary base the team are now using might be holding the stolen relics that the Ice Witch was accused of stealing meaning it's probably a trap but could possibly be a way to find out who the traitor is on the team...
After the battle Batman is inside his Batmobile, he only can barely give an order to the car:
"Move!"
"Destination" replies the machine.
"Batcave"
While the car runs Batman talks again:
"Alfred!"
"Yes, sir"
"Prepare surgery equipment"
"Can I ask what happened Master Bruce?"
"Things went deadly wrong"
"Equipment ready in 5 minutes sir"
The car arrives to the place, Alfred is ready to do his job and does it.
After Alfred cures Batman's wounds he is ready to go out to look for the bad doers. First thing he does is to go to the Batcave below his manor and he tries to stablish contact with his comrades.
"Batman calling, Batman calling, is someone there from the team that is listening to me?"

As I am still at the place where pong was; our hq I am guessing; but as I am unfamiliar; I look to see if anyone is around; as I didnt get up and about until about 4pm; I dont know if I heard batmans call; when did it come in; I would have been sleeping then mediating as afore mentioned in post; I would be listening studing a map of the city and files until dusk; so; gm call on if I hear Batmans trouble call.
If not; my plan for the eve: after I study a map of the city a bit; I locate this park that the Ice Witch was at; tell someone or leave a note that I wish to meet her in a non aggressive way if possible; so I will leave for this park at dusk by magical flight; I have no way of contacting others beside using my dark magic fey mind powers and enchanting someone or some beast to carry a message for me; so I try to find a number to call here to at least leave a message and will give times I will call; 9pm; 12pm; 3am unless contacted or called; will return 6am.
so; once dusk; will fly and observe this park and places that observe this park and try to detect any magic residue from last night's magic encounter here if the Ice Witch indeed uses magic.
also; I want to check this park for any faerie that may live there; perhaps mounds of mushrooms or other fey magic might be evident and perhaps I can contact a faire that may has seen something; so in that regard; I will try to find some milk; honey; bread; and beer here that I can use to entice or negotiate with the fey to bargain for information; I would rather not try to compel them unless I have to as that usually excallates.

Spoiler:You sense the remnants of some enormous power that is still dwindling but not enough for you not to sense it and it feels as if its more than mystical in nature more like one or more of the primal forces was present the previous night and the remnant is strong enough for you to know its concentrated in the park and just outside the entrance facing the museum but no further than that
After a few minutes following a bit of time spent hiding your presence from the park keepers and the few cops passing by your summoning brings forth a group of faerie strangely they aren't the usual folk you'd expect in a park, the first three consist of small winter spirits who seem giddy with happiness but won't respond unless asked

It takes most of the night before you manage to get a response from Pong.
"Bats! what happened?" he asks."I found Mechimera's body or the one he used to get to the bombed apartment block, no sign of either Skater nor Johnny the police division headqarters has been bombed I was heading there when I picked up your hail," Pong explains as he pauses on a rooftop overlooking the now shattered freeway.
He could have sworn he'd seen someone flying towards the police headquarters but more concerned with the destruction of the freeway he hoped it meant the others were here but no sign until Bats called he planned on heading towards Johnny's last known position.

I will approach the fey; and identify myself as Maelidek; and ask to share with them; they share the story of the Ice Witch and what they saw; then I share the gifts I brought; I will show them what I brought as enticement. In their eyes; I have been with the Winter Court, but won my freedom and can choose freely.
I will then answer the Batman's call; as ask what type help he needs or how I can locate him or where to meet him; do we come in blasting or seeking to control the situation more subtley.

"OOH another member of the court has come a-calling" they giggle in fascination.
"First the walker between summer and winter, then her hunters and now another!" the other faerie whimpers backThey do this repeatedly until you coax a response its then you notice the others waiting a little out of sight, two are actually full blood faeries of the winter court who watch you in curiosity the other seems to be something different.
"She is not here, we must part and begin the hunt anew, the queens desire an audience and they do not care to be kept waiting," the taller of the two winter faerie lords nod and then the pair vanish leaving only the two small faerie still trying to finish their deal with you, the "other" watches on and then fades away as if no longer interested.
What little sense you can make from the smaller faerie's blabbering is that who or what this Ice Witch is her sortie's are drawing great interest from many sides of the faerie realm especially those she seems to be named after.

What you have figured out is that the Ice Witch isn't some normal powered individual, the records you perused at the base seem to suggest that she only "appears" for a few nights a month and usually doesn't appear in the same place twice however she has done so in New Proverbial suggesting she's a local.
I tell the Fae; please give my regards to your Queen and her hunters from I, Maelidek the Mystic, I am a guardian of this city and seek an audience that I might know her concerns in this realm. Thus I may mediate a compact or understanding.
Back at the station; I do have some gifts; but to divine that which has not happened is not one of them; I can determine if something is magical or carries magical auras or residue; I can make people talk or seek if any of the wee ones where in the area and happened to see what happened; they are good for gossip on comings and goings of "interesting people", for instance; the fey at the park near the museum said that an unaligned agent and her hunters were there; so not of either court specifically; but aligned and a mover beyond the ordinary and someone with more than mortal connections.
I will need to get to the museum somewhat quickly; and inspect what is there as something there is probably very magical and worth stealing; perhaps enough to change the power grid in this area. Old Gods sometimes have sleeping connections to items in such places; we should tread these enemies carefully; but quickly; getting to far behind could leave us as dust; not just in it.
What do you wish me to look at?

in game; I probably can contact you with a spell; might take a while for the spell to find you; but it can happen. Would work better if I had something that was your; that you wore; that you used; did you stay in the base and use anything; a comb; mirror; brush; pencil; I could find anything you may have used that has residue of your presence and that would help. hehe if you used the mirror; I could capture your reflection; that would help a lot. Mirrors are very powerful to the fae and can be both doorways and communication devices; if you used it; your reflection would be their until the next sunrise to a fae wizard like me.
up to you to decide when and what you may have used; a pencil would be a lot harder; not as much connection to it as your image; I might be able to get it to write a spot on a map where you are; but that would be really hard; a collection of little things would be better than one pencil; but the reflection would let me contact you and make a small mind link for communication; hmm; if my character find this to be a problem; I will begin collecting and storing and imbuing things for spells like this in the future of each team member that I can; would be a somewhat constant process as the items would get old and "expire" and people change and that too would make any long term links get stale.

He becomes even more flustered when he realises Batman is present."Sorry boss just managed to find Skater, seems his extended family has him held up over what he was doing last night, I only managed to talk to him for a few moments before one of his uncles politely shooed me away. Seems someone spotted him and he's been grounded until the heat from his family subsides enough so he can report in. The uncle said something about knowing you though, don't know if he was serious though but he did try to keep that part quiet whilst Skates was being dragged back inside I think by his grandmother I think..." Pong babbles.
"Oh Supergirl, your cape's been returned..." Pong rushes to drag out what looks like a customs dry cleaning clothes box that is if dry cleaning clothes boxes come marked "STAR Labs".
He passes it over before moving back to the nearest seat but still looks on edge.
I walk over and look at the map...
"hmm, interesing place these museums; storage for ancient relics and items of power meanful to people since times beginnings all stored in a place with very little security. I wonder at the history of the building place of this museaum and why that location was chosen; and what part in history it had prior to its internment to this generation; I have not yet mapped out the magical flows of energy in this town so it is not yet possible to determine if the Ice Witch, a rude name to be sure and not one of my chosing, was looking for an item or a place; either could be valid. Certianly, I have been told of meaningful meeting taking place there outside of normal museaum business."

Batman finally gets up and starts talking to the team while he looks to the map that appears on the giant screen at the meeting room.
"If something bad is lurking at this place, we better go with caution. So my plan is simple: let's get in for the main entrances, I open one of the doors clean and fast, Maedelik looks for something wrong before we get in, Supergirl goes in front always walking and we go after her always at 5 meters (16'6") distance. No separations at all, the whole team gets in every room the whole team gets out of every room. Suggestions?"
Sounds good; when will we go; what will be the lighting; who is expected to be present; do we have the support of the Museum officials; I am no so sure of the rules in this situation; I would not like to precipitate a fight in the museaum and see the loss of so many irreplaceable things; any villian contact should be removed from the place as soon as possible. If we meet the Ice Witch; please allow me to speak to her; alone if necessary; we would not like to precipitate a large scale magical contest of power; it could level the city; change the weather on a worldwide scale; precipitate allies and outsiders in direct conflict; best to avoid such things; beware; perhaps the icons of long sleeping gods may exist in such places; icons of power based on faith and sleeping desire; tread carefully I warn you.
What is our goal at the museum; I have stated mine; are there other agendas and goals the team should be aware of?

Please; do not be aggresive toward this person called the Ice Witch; you have no idea what can happen; if you go in with an aggressive attitude; you will be met with an aggresive attitude. Speak with reason and seek understanding and perhaps much strife can be avoided; our goal should be peaceful resolution; not combat and destruction; I have seen scorched cities; dead civilizations; it just takes one spark; one hothead; one person willing to continue the fight with no boundries. Seek not a challenge then perhaps you wont find one; if the fight in inevitable; then it will happen and we shall do our best. I will stand with you regardless; but, please attempt to be cordial and polite; it costs little and can save much.

Forgive me, I thought you should know what you might face; but have no real knowledge of this Ice Witch; only how I was trained to fight.
