Hi, I don;t know about San Jose, but if you come down to LA for strategicon during larbor day weekend, I will be running Seven Swords of Sin on Saturday, and if there there are PF Society scenarios available then one of those on Sunday

Liberty's Edge

I'm a hopeful player living in Fremont. It's not San Jose but close enough for a short drive.

I'm up in Santa Rosa area.. we could always use a good game up here.... even have a FLGS that would host the playsite for us if needed.. it'a a long commute I know but gamers are known for going to great lengths to do their hobby..

Liberty's Edge

Santa Rosa is a bit far for me. I'm stuck with just public transportation myself. However, there is a local gaming store here that has open tables we can use to play, and I would be willing to DM if that will encourage people to make the trip.

West SJ/CU here.

You might try checking out Game Kastle on Coleman & Brokaw in Santa Clara. They have a good RPG crowd there. However, most of the folks I know migrated to 4e pretty quickly, so you might not find exactly what you are looking for.

Sorry to take so long to respond to everyone.
DragonBelow, LA is a bit far for me now, Back when i was younger groups of us made the drive, but I think those days are past. Thanks for the offer though. With enough lead time, might fly down for a convention, though.
Mandraiv, Santa Rosa is a bit far for a regular game, but might be okay for a convention or long weekend once /twice a year.
JSL, I've been haunting the Game kastle website to see if they had a game posting, but no luck. It's not far from me and I should go there and see what's happening.
Wiglaf, Since I live in far north San Jose, Fremont is near enough. I get my car serviced there. I can bring one (me) and maybe one or two more( don't count on them though). If we get enough for a table, maybe we can rotate the DMing so that you don't have to eat all the modules. Send me an email at dwightd@sbcglobal.com.

That would be great. I'll drop you a line and we can discuss details. In the meantime, if anyone else in the Fremont area, or willing to travel there, would chime in if they are interested that would be wonderful. I know of a few local pizza places and the like if we want to have a meet and greet before settling down to game.

Great! Noticed an error in my previous post. Email should be dwightd408sbcglobal.com.

E-mail re-sent to correct address now.

Okay, I'm going loopy today. Probably because I never send email to myself.

One more time:
dwightd408@sbcglobal.net

That is correct per my mailbox. It's probably my advanced years, losing my mind and all that.

Liberty's Edge

OK, sent it again. Don't worry too much about it. I have the darndest time remembering my cell phone number for the same reason.

Dude! My roommates(3) and I have a house in San Leandro. We're near Fremont.

You guys want to play Curse of the Crimson Throne? We where thinking of starting the first part this weekend.

I appreciate the thought, but I must admit that CotCT doesn't really entice me that much. Still, if any of you want to take a trip into Fremont for some Pathfinder Society gaming that would be great. If you're interested let me know and I'll shoot you an e-mail to keep you up to date on any plans.

Absolutely. Sounds good to me.

Woot! Might get two tables at this rate.

If you guys are still putting together a group and you still need a player, let me know. I haven't played D&D for awhile and I found Pathfinder while searching the net for possible groups to start again. If I can find a serious group, I don't mind acquiring the modules as I'm just getting back into it and my DMing probably isn't up to par. Feel free to email me anytime at paul dot v dot nguyen at comcast dot net.
