I was noticing in the Pathfinder Setting book, that mention is made of the lunar holiday, but no mention of how long a "lunar month" is.
Anyone have an idea? Or if someone could from Paizo would be able to shed some light on this?
The lunar cycle in Golarion = the lunar cycle on Earth.
For the most part, for things like lunar cycles and tides and distances between latitudes and longitudes and equators and other geography stuff... we deliberately set up Golarion to be more or less equal to Earth, since no one here at Paizo is smart enough or has the time to figure out what happens if we set our world on a planet that's differently sized or has weird lunar cycles...
So yeah. The lunar cycle is the same as that on Earth.

Didn't the Gazetteer say something about 52 weeks in a year, and 7 days in a week? So 364 days a year, or 30.333333333333 days per month?
This is something I was wondering myself. The years are pretty much based on our own (if a product comes out in 2008, then its 4708 in Golarian). Are the months similarly based off ours as well? As in is the first month 31 days, the second one 28 days, etc.? If not, how should it go?

Every month in Golarion has 30 days, last I checked.

I'm going off of the Pathfinder Chronicles Gazetteer, page 19, which says:
Did they change this information somewhere? As is, this would result in 364 days, or a little over 30 days each month.

Hence the "Leap Year" when the year is divisible by 8.

I don't think they changed it, I just think there was some discrepancies from the first mention of the cosmology in the Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide to what we have now.
I may try and reconcile these discrepancies on my flights tomorrow.

So if each month is 30 days, is there any information on which month begins on what day? I'm kind of a fanatic for an actual world calender, player birthdays, special dates, etc. With 30 days, that'd be 4 weeks and 2 days each per month, so the month won't start on, say, a Monday each time.
If you want to send me an email (mine is in my profile), I'll send you an Excel file with all my obsessive calculations in it. :)
