Side question: Is enough treasure provided in the adventure to give characters who actually want to improve their social standing the money to do so?
Or will buying that townhouse mean that you end up getting wiped out by the next tough fight because you spent all your money at Ye Olde IKEA instead of investing in weapons of mass destruction?

Based on the Guide to Korvosa, what exactly is the difference between a House, Apartment Suite, Tenement Flat, and Studio in Korvosa?
A house is a... well... a house.
An apartment is exactly like a modern apartment: one or more bedrooms off a main room that you rent from month to month. Might include a kitchen. Unless it's really upscale, probably does NOT have a private bathroom.
A tenement flat is a condo, basically.
A studio is a studio apartment.

That's mostly what we figured. We just didn't know if there were any real differences between now and medieval/fantasy times, in terms of space, and were curious on the actual size differences.
Now, an apartment suite could be 800-1000 square feet, but in Korvosa, a crammed city, I wonder if it's even close to that. Or maybe the sizes just get skewed even more, like Studios there are half the size of Studios here, with Apartments being about the same.
The difference between a Tenement Flat and an Apartment Suite was confusing too. :) Thanks for the help, Mike!

For size, I would say that most everything is about half the size of modern living spaces.
And you're welcome. :)
