Hi Guys,
I think this should be directed at Vic, but I'm not too sure so anyone who can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
I bought this and 2 other .pdfs (A Touch of Evil Volume 3: Gnolls & A Touch of Evil Volume 5: Kobolds) as part of Order #990779.
Both of the others were fine, but when I download (or open for that matter) Hobgoblins, there is nothing in the Zip Folder, even though it says it has downloaded 8.6MB of info and the Properties says there is 8.6MB of info there!
View Hidden Files and Folders is selected, so it's not a Hidden File.
I also tried downloading it again. No Dice.
Just wonderin' "What's Goin' Down in Chinatown"? =)
Cheers

I purchased the same item and had the same problem. I never got it fixed, but I will be doing so now.
Go ahead and email me as well Loja, and I'll hook you up.
Only two of you bought this one, so it's sounding like that zip file might be corrupt.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

It didn't happen with this pdf for me, but it has happened for multiple other 3rd party pdfs for me. Gary fixed it by suggesting not that you change the .zip to .pdf but try opening the file using the Open With command in Windows and choose your favorite .pdf reader. Apparently, at least in my case, the files aren't really zipped, but the store tags them that way in the downlaod. The OS can't see the file as what it is because it is being told it's a zip file, thus it seems corrupted.
There are some more threads out there about this. They're working on fixing it.

Cool, Lilith wrote one of those!
Flash, how do you find these supplements? Handy? They are a collection of NPCs of the given race right? Anything else in them apart from that (not that that's not enough!)
The Hobgoblin one has alot of extra stuff, as does the Gnoll.
I haven't had a look at the Orc or Dwarf thouroughly yet, but I think the Dwarf just has Stat Blocks. The Kobold is primarily Stat Blocks, with stuff like Spells and Magic Items thrown in as well.
Of all of them, the Kobold is definately my favourite (Kudos Liz, I Love Wightscale!! Yeah I'm not afraid to say it!) but the others are really good resource tools for pre-generated NPCs.

We've been having quite a few problems with the PDFs showing up as empty folders (or something similar). We're currently investigating the problem and will let you know as soon as we find a solid solution.
Gary will fix the bug in our system soon, but until then, renaming the .zip to .pdf will probably work; using a different unzipping utility (other than the one built into Windows) will also usually work.
