Dude, like that elfdude on the blog dude, he's way 80s dude,

but DUDE ! Com'on ! He might as well be sporting Raybans dude.

DUDE !

Scarab Sages

Dude.

Sovereign Court

Don't have a cow, man.

Collar popped - check.

You can't see it because of the hair, but his left ear is pierced.

Also, he's got his cigarettes stashed under his shoulder armour bit.

He's an elf! They live for hundreds and hundreds of years. They can't keep up with human fashion. It changes too quickly for them.

The last time he came out of his forest was probably 1983.

"Oh s*~+. Seriously? This isn't cool anymore? Already?"

Sovereign Court

An '80s look?
How so?

Liberty's Edge

Hmm, don't see the reference. Looks good to me.

How can you even comment on the style when he's wearing those colors with that hair. Oh. My. Gawd. Baaarrrring! Hello! Cyndi Lauper's calling. She wants her aqua puff pants back. :P

Liberty's Edge

Gag me with a rototiller.

Um, no. You're off by a decade. Shoulder-length or slightly shorter hair? Seventies.

Eighties, you either go with something that needs half a can of hairspray per day or *shudder* a mullet.

Yeah, the hair isn't curled or poofy enough for the 80's. The shoulderpads are interesting.

Remember, Big Hair = No need for a helmet!

Bzzzzzzt! Wrong! Straight from Google: This is 80's hair.

Here is 70's Hair.

I think picture #2 on the 70's hair search is the model for the blog elf.

N° 17 is the scariest goblin I've ever seen. If only I could enhance that resolution...

I remember when I had hair....

*looks at elf*

Hmm...no big hair, no parachute pants, no Converse All-Stars, no Wham t-shirt, no orange stripes dyed in the hair, no rat-tail...

No, definitely not 80s.

Actually the elf picutre has a different problem. His eyes has Irises which I was given to understand was not correct for Golarion elves.

His stance is also a little bit hunched. But that could be because of this pose. :don't know:

That's a dude? Are you guys sure? I thought it was a she-elf.

Actaully... his eyes are fine. You can see an elf's iris easy. You can't see the whites, though; what looks like a spot of white is actually a reflection, I suspect, since elf eyes are slimy and moist.

I still think that the eyes are too "human looking." :(

Since you are having problems with gender identification, let me help:

Male Elf
Female Elf

See the differences? :P

(I still think that the eyes are wrong on the "male elf.")

Sovereign Court

They both look like girls. I don't think I'd want to belong to a race where the men are just as beautiful as the women. Or, in the case of dwarves, where the women are just as ugly as the men.

I think he looks a little hunched - but I think it's just an optical illusion. The fluting of the armor is as high as his forehead making it seem like he's hunched or scrunched down - but you can see his neck is straight and normal - the fluting gives the illusion that he's scrunched down into his armor.

I agree, actually, but the're not as bad as a lot of them have been. I'm not sure why so many artists have such a hard time with the eyes; we actually spent a bit of money on the last art order to order some elf head shots SPECIFICALLY to show how their ears and eyes work so we can send them to the artists who don't get it, though. Hopefully that'll help.
