The art on the cover of Second Darkness is done by Steve Prescott. The interior artwork is done by a wide range of artists (in particular Eva Widermann, Ben Wootten, Julie Dillon, Andrew Hou, Concept Art House, and several others; it'll change from volume to volume).
The critter on the drow's shoulder is probably a quasit. It might be a homunculus, though. The stats for said wizard aren't in yet...
