You hit, so now roll your damage. You make a roll, paste it into your post then make your damage roll and paste that into the same post.

I did

Thimble swings his giant axe downward at the hobgoblin, cleaving him from shoulder to groin. The hobgoblin falls to the ground, dead.

Actually the damage roll should be 1d10+12 (raging overhand chop) (1d10 not 1d20)

Thimble's Hit Points are normally 16 but Thimble's down to 12.

He was down 4 and you rolled 6 (your roll was for how many points you heal)

Vartan searches the corpse. All he finds is the shortbow and the sword.

"Anybody want these? I don't."

'The fox!" Shouts Asther. Asther runs back to bess and the little fennec. She puts the fox on Bess. The fox cradled into a ball.

Asther looks back to Vartan. "Where to now Vartan?"

"Let's keep going along the lake until it is time to make camp for the night."

The crow he shot is not quite dead. It is still flopping around on the ground with an arrow through it. Vartan sticks his sword in it then pulls his arrow out. He puts both dead crows on Bess.

"Dinner."

"I initially talked to Asther because I saw she is a Greenfire druid. I thought she might be able to guide me to the Eldest Tree. You were with here, which I though was odd, since Greenfire druids and lumberjacks generally don't get along."
