Scarab Sages

Hello,

I want to start/join a group in the LA area. I am looking for people that care more about characters and story, than stats or maximum efficiency.

In particular I am interested in the following games:

* D&D 3.5 / Pathfinder RPG
* Arcana Evolved
* Dragonlance
* Star Wars Saga

Lol, this pretty much fits what I am looking for too. If you are going to start a group, I'll join if you'll have me. I play both Dragonlance and D&D 3.5.

I am also thinking of starting a group in the Burbank area. Not sure what setting to play - I was thinking of an alternate dimension of Dragonlance or possibly a home brew world.

Burbank would be quite a drive for me, I am in Whittier, close to north OC

I'm in Fullerton and might be available.

Cool,

I was thinking of one of two options:

1) one long session a month (at least 8 hours)

2) two relatively short sessions a month (4-5 hours per session)

Weekends only though

Liberty's Edge

I have a group in Long Beach looking for more players.

We meet Saturdays at my house.

We are in our 20's and 30's.

Mostly,we play FRPGs using the Eberron setting with Savage Worlds or D&D 3.5 rules and have some interest in Pathfinder as well.

If a game is being formed in the LA area, I would be interested (depending on location).

The Exchange

All the places mentioned are a bit far from where I am (Westchester/LAX), but I am also LFG. I'd be willing to hop on the freeway and drive far (in-county) if it weren't an every-week game...Oh who am I kidding? Even if it were every week. Still, any place a bit closer, with some parking, would be nice.

I am in Anaheim, CA.

I plan on running a monthly game (or two) of Pathfinder Society in Fullerton at Dice House Games.

Hope that attracts some interest.

DragonBelow, thanks for running the game. I had a lot of fun despite the trying environment (i.e., no A/C). What did you think of the module?

Hey Joel, I am glad you had fun, and it was great to find fellow Pathfinders :)

Regarding the module itself...

Spoiler:
The background given for the technological aspects of the location are somewhat vague, which is good, but it seemed to me that it was distracting for some people. Of course not everything needs an explanation, but if you have this kind of player in your group I suggest you develop the location's backstory a little bit more.

Also, there is the disconnect between the rooms, you can tell that they were strung together by a very thin thread, something that you could try to fix for your game.

Just wanted to add my thanks to DragonBelow. A good time was had by all.

Thank you, DragonBelow! And re. the AC (air conditioning, not armor class) problem:

Spoiler:
it even added some verisimilitude to those tough-ass fire elementals.

I am thinking of starting a monthly PFRPG game, it would be in my home and would start from 1pm until 9pm or so.

Second Darkness or a Falcon's Hollow based game. Any takers?

Btw, there's now a SoCal Pathfinder Group over at Yahoo! Groups if you're interested. Link to post found here. Look for "Derek Lane"

I am currently running Pathfinder (Rise of the Runelords) in Lakewood, CA.
We are looking for 1 or 2 players to round out our group, we have 4 players and a GM.

We are all in our 30's-40's. And we are always interested in trying new systems (talk of 13th Age and Savage Worlds recently.)

I may be interested in playing AND running Pathfinder Society in the near future.
