Hey all, I am planning a Road trip to GenCon UK from Keiserslautern Germany.

I am looking for gamers in Germany *nearish Keiserslautern* to join me!

I have room for 3 Comfortably 4 less comfortably, I am planning on getting to Reading UK on the 27th of August and leaving on 1st of September.

All I ask is for help with paying for gas, as outside of Germany it will get expensive!

Wife may require to meet you first since she trusts no one! ;-)

Also I do not speak a word of German :-)

Ok... Got the UK Gencon 4 Day pass, Got the Hotel Reservations

Now All I need is some people to come with ;-)

I was thinking long and hard about joning you, but in the end it wasn't possible to come up with the 200+ € for entrance, a room etc.

Maybe you can consider coming to Essen in October, I think all of us would have no problem with english, as our prensence here pretty much proves.

Essen Spielemesse, look here

for fellow paizonians
or here for the fair itself. It is a fair, not a convention.

I guess I will be there at least one day, I don´t know yet if more.

Dang, forgot to comment.

Kaiserslautern would be half an odyssey for us as we'd have to come by train. Talk about gas prices, I decided long ago that I rather spend my money on a convenient located residence than a car.

Would Frankfurt be ok?

Yeah... sorry.. I keep forgetting how much money you guys spend on gas...

Like I said we would have to meet up first...

Me and the Wife were planning a Day trip in the upcoming weeks, so maybe we can work the day trip into meeting you guys...

though Frankfurt was not a City we were considering as a place for a Day trip... My wife was looking at Mannheim or Trier, but if Eihter of those are too much for you guys... what are some cool place between Kaiserslautern and Köln?

I have an important question though.... How old are you guys?

I can't think of a convenient place right now. Sorry, I think we've to bail out. It's probably too tedious and expensive for us meeting up, considering a train ride to London and back 'only' costs aprox 110€.

A lot more for me to get a train to Reading.

Yeah, I was willing to pick you guys up from Cologne for the trip, and driving would end up being a little cheaper then that, with shared gas.. But I don't know by how much.
