Last weekend was the first annual FateCon in Mesa, AZ. It was a fantastic weekend and great fun was had by all! A quick recap of the weekend follows:
Friday night - Flights arrived. Attendants were brought to the convention center and set up for the night.
Saturday morning/day - Daigle ran some cat-6 cabling from the computer room to two of the rooms on the upper level of the convention center. Karelzarath busied himself with copious amounts of Grand Theft Auto 4.
Saturday night - I ran the final installment of my 6-months-running Eberron campaign for my players with Daigle and Karelzarath as my faithful sidekicks (running the badguy NPCs for me). Despite some initial doubts, Team Evil triumphed in the 8th round of combat with a solid TPK!
Sunday morning - Breakfast (well, lunch really) at IHOP where we were joined by Sir Wulf. Afterwards, we returned to the convention center...
Sunday afternoon/evening - ...for a marathon session of Call of Cthulhu run by Sir Wulf! Much fun was had and Karelzarath's character summoned forth Nyarlathotep to aid us in battle!
Monday morning - Convention goers returned to the airport.
Awesome fun! I'm very much looking forward to next year's event!

Very cool, how many people showed up?
And why FateCon, why not DaigleCon?
;-)
Karelzarath, Daigle, and Sir Wulf showed up for the festivities.
And, "why FateCon?" Cuz it was at my frickin' house! :P
