Crepitus?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

Anyone else remember the bugs in Jagged Alliance 2 having that name? I was worried about these little buggers based on the name alone. *shudder*

That is a blast from the past, late 90's if I recall correctly.

Yes the sci-fi bugs were called Crepitus (which is Latin for fart).

Real pain in the back side to finish that mission.

With m14s, hollowpoints and gas masks it wasn't bad. And the queen is easy. just pitch several mustard gas grenades into the room and follow with explosives as impatience dictates. :) Seesile foes are easy pickin' for fast mercs like Shadow and Buzz. Royal jelly-enhanced spectra helmets & vests kept my 3 top mercs alive through... ...dang it. Now I want to play that game again.

I just know that when I'm through with them, they'll be called Itus (because I'll rightously beat the crep out of them)

I hear you. Happens to me all the time. Except, with my luck, I run, screaming, into a policeman.
