You know what the map of Golarion could use?

Trade routes and export lists, a la the Forgotton Realms maps. I've found these immensely helpful for immersion and storytelling. Once you know who makes what, and where it's going, you get a lot of cultural insight. It really ties a world together.

Not to mention it's a great boon to seafaring, warfare and caravan adventures.

Just a suggestion.

Way ahead of you.

Not on a map, but there is a trade section in hardcover that talks about this. :)

Scarab Sages

Does it explain the secret merchant-ninja paths?
That would be sooo cool!

Knowing this community, a map will follow shortly following the book's release. Heck, I might even take a crack at that one.

You know why trade routes and export lists exist for the Realms though? Ed Greenwood is a maniac. I don't think he stops writing until he passes out. God bless him! :)

He doesn't need sleep - he's a rare form of 'good Lich' that just cranks out lore at an impossible rate.

Golarion maps, eh? I may need to make some room over at my DeviantART site. :D

The map is also missing an equator.

If you modify them like you did the 3E realms maps, that'd be awesome. :)

That's because the equator isn't on the map. It's a few inches south of where the map ends. Basically, the inner sea region is more or less about where the Mediterranean Sea is... maybe a little more north.

This DOES mean that the ice you see along the top edge of the map is probably a bit too far south. Either that, or Golarion's in an Ice Age, which is certainly possible...

I hope that's AP4 foreshadowing.

I keep telling you people, the world is FLAT! You go all that way and you'll fall off the edge!

You know what the map really needs? Hexes. 24 miles per hex hexes....just like the old days.

How hard would this be to do as a pdf? Wouldn't it 'just' involve adding a layer with white hexes over the map? Or I guess between the geographic features and the writing?

And getting the scale just right... the list grows ...
