Need advice for cohort

During the point of my campaign one of my players is planning on getting a cohort (the catfolk barbarian player) Which because of background is going to be his long lost little sister. My plan is to have her start off as an advesary of the group (What im doing is macking it she was unofically adopted by Trina Sabor who she looks upon as a big sister. So she is going to show up during the shingles chase to try and help Trina get away) Anyway I would like advice on what class to make her? Her background to me indicates rogue but the party already has a full on one and a cross class one so i'd like suggestions of other possible classes

Ranger?

Barbarian?

both get mobility stuff as well as useful skills

Ranger is a possibility but id like to avoid anything we already have a full class of so barbarian, fighter, bard and rogue are out.

Which sources do you allow? What about urban ranger from the expanded SRD?

Sorcerer: easy to manage as a DM or player. Easy to explain the acquisition of spell powers. Or, ya know, bard!
