Local Waldenbooks is carrying Pathfinder 1 packaged with the Player's Guide. The local Barnes & Noble is carrying Pathfinder 7 and the Guide to Korvosa. Finally! :)

Wow! Haven't seen either in the local bookstores here in DFW. In fact, most of the chains have almost eliminated their RPG shelfs. Local Borders have maybe one shelf (50/50 White Wolf/WotC and interestingly the only 3rd party representation is The Book of Erotic Fantasy!) and B&N less than a third of a shelf. No Paizo at either... :(

I saw them at Books-a-Million at the Grapevine Mills Mall; otherwise just Lonestar Comics or the Gamer's Chest at Valley View Mall.
I live over Garland way, so I don't get out to Grapevine Mills that often.

Has anybody seen them at Borders ??
Not yet but both Borders and Waldenbooks can order all of the Pathfinder books for you and you pay for them when they get there.

I am not sure where you are in the DFW area but the end of our quest for a local game shop that sold the Pathfinder books was a place in the Valley View Mall called something along the lines of Game Chest. It had a great selection but it is a bit of a drive from where i live.

Frisco, so not too far away. I'll have to check it out. I think Collin Creek in Plano has a Game Chest too.

The Local BX here on base in germany has Pathfinder 1-6... Allot of them.. They are not selling well, most likely because most of the players I know that get Paizo products, order them online, because the BX book store is terrible in getting anything.

They've been on the shelf at AAFES for a while now. I don't remember when they started appearing, but I noticed it at the time.
Kobold Quarterly sits on the shelf just above it, too.
Pretty close to where the Dragon and Dungeon mags used to be, actually.
O.O
*blink blink*I will have to go check now. I've seen PF at my local game store (just the one) but I don't go out much so I haven't checked the book stores.

If you have a Lone Star Comics around there, they'll usually have the AP's, but the GameMastery modules go quick. I get the feeling there's trepidation about carrying a lot of rpg inventory.

Yeah, there is no lone star comics in Denton where i am, but every once and a while i find myself down in the dallas area, and will make an attempt to check it out.
And i do not understand that fear of rpgs. Out of the three game/comic shops in denton not one supports the role playing community. We have a big role playing club up here (with about 18 players at one point) and no shop supportes us. All they cater to is magic or other card games. Do magic players really spend that much more money than we do? woops, i am ranting.

Actually they sell out of the APs and everything else FAST. They only order one or two copies of each (so it seems). Anything else in a Lone Star is usually there for at least a week. Paizo stuff disappears quick. And they've really cut back on their RPG stuff too, you're right...

Would that not be taking advantage of other people misery?....;-)

I take it back... They only have 2-5...
