Pathfinder 10 artwork == WOW

I really like the style of the Pathfinder 10 artwork on the blog, especially this one. Less stylized than WAR stuff, yet very colorful and epic. I hope we see more of this in the future.

Thoughts?

Yah, that one kind of reminds me of Lord of the Rings when they were all hiking along with the mountains in the background...

It doesn't seem to me to be all that different than the great stuff we've seen thus far in all the Pathfinder products, from the APs to the modules and Chronicles supplements. These are amazing teasers though, and I'm salivating more than ever for issue 10. I don't know if it's the art alone, though; I am getting antsy to get out of Korvosa and explore some other parts of the world.

And I'm intrigued by the Sihedron Rune on the ruins from the other picture.

The half page pictures, whether they're verticle or horizontal have usually always been good. I can only think of one book so far...PF3.. where the half page pictures failed to look good IMHO.

The "painted" they usually have looks really nice.

I thought the same thing.

Now I think someone should line up all twelve iconics and make a short animated sequence with them parodying that LotR scene.
