Put a little smiley face in your post unless you really believe that scientists everywhere use D20 size categories. :-) At 26' long it is a 'huge' squid at best. So, it is probably just a 'giant' squid but it is pushing the envelope there. It's only 1000 pounds so it doesn't fit the weight category for 'huge' but it is a sea creature.

I'm thinking just 'giant squid'.

Okay, the big questions are, why after all these years has it allowed itself to get caught, how will it survive the vivisection, and what does it want with those poor scientists?
