Lycanthrope love.

Hi everybody.

So I've a question. I'm a big fan of the monster books that WotC put out: Draconomicon, Lords of Madness, and the Libris Mortis, and I was highly disappointed that a similar book was never released for lycanthropes. Does anybody have any suggestions of some good third party material out there for lycanthropes? From what I've read Spirosblaak was a setting book that dealt with lycanthropes to some extent. Are there any good 3rd party material out there that gives cursed shape changers some love?

Oh they did put out a shape changing centred book. Its called Eberron.

"Slaves of the Moon" wasn't bad.

Dragon #313. Great stuff! I made a whole subculture of wood elves based on that article.

Sounds cool. I'll have to check it out again.

Hey thanks for the heads up mwbeeler! I just checked out the link and it looks awesome. I'm putting it on the list. I'll also check on Dragon #313.

Jeremy, I have Eberron... and if that was their attempt at a shape change book it's sorely lacking, too much magic and flying ships, not enough shape-changers. In all seriousness I like the setting (I know many here do not, but I like a lot of settings, so it's no surprise there). It actually surprises me to some extent that they never did a book about shape-changers, specifically because of Eberron.

Oh well. Thanks for the tips. I'm definitely going to check out Slaves to the Moon, it looks sweet.
