Anyone know this? My group just finished Crown of the Kobold King and want to spend some of their hard earned coin, but there's not much to buy in such a dreary little town.

The only city in Andoran (the country that Falcon's Hollow is in) that has been described at all in print, is the capital, Almas. You can find more about it in the first issue of Pathinder: Rise of the Runelords in the section on the Pathfinder Society.

Have a wagon train come into town, someone can surely supply the adventures with some goods. :)

There's a larger town called Olfden that gets talked about in Guide to Darkmoon Vale. The reason it doesn't get any mention before then is that it's not a very important town. It's bigger than Falcon's Hollow, but not much happens there of interest to adventurers. It's basically your generic fantasy town where PCs can buy and sell their phat lewtz.

South of Olfden is Oregent, which does appear on the Gazetteer map, because it's actually a city.

Olfden is ~30 miles south of Falcon's Hollow, and Oregent is ~30 miles south of Olfden.

Thanks for the information, Mike. I have been trying to puzzle out what the "???gent" name was on the Golarion map posted to the blog for some time now. Knowing it is Oregent will help in my campaign.

Not to threadjack (but I am), but how is the Guide to Darkmoon Vale coming? Can you slip us any more tidbits about regal kobold tribes, evil druids, or conniving lumber barons?

I'm really looking forward to this book, as my current campaign runs out of Falcon's Hollow. If it is even close to the quality of Guide to Korvosa, I know I will be thrilled, great work on that one!

That's until I get my hands on the Dark Moon Veil and get a group together. *evil DM-type Laughter*

Thanks a lot for the super specific reply, and please tell darling Logue that I said "Hi! <3" ;)

Guide to Darkmoon Vale is currently in layout.

I certainly HOPE it's of nearly the same quality as Korvosa. Of course, if it is, I'll humbly submit that "All the good stuff was written by Logue and others. I just put it together." :)

IIRC, the starting location for Guardians of Dragonfall is also in Andoran, though the name escapes me now (don't have my books here at work). I imagine it's even less important than either of the cities Mike mentioned, and since it's coastal, probably even father away.

You're correct in the first sentence. The city is Augustana, the second-largest city in Andoran (Oregent is third) and home to a massive port and shipworks.

Good stuff Mike. I look forward to more.
