I'm wondering what the "tone" of the Curse of the Crimson Throne AP is like. I am trying to get a Pathfinder RPG playtest group going, and I'm trying to decide what adventures to use.
I remember hearing that RotRL (and have been finding as I read through it) had a not-insignificant horror tone to it. Unfortunately, at least one of my potential players has a significant problem with horror. I'm sure I could tone things down a bit (I'm not usually fond of horror either). But if CotCT is less horrific anyway, I might just use that.
From what I've seen of CotCT so far, it doesn't seem to have as much horror to it, at least. I was just wondering if anybody who has read it more thoroughly and/or played through Edge of Anarchy already could shed more light on the subject.
Any input would be appreciated.

If you and a player dislike horror I would suggest reading both RotRL and CotCT. RotRL has two adventures that take a turn down the horrific and thus tend to be harder to tone down. As only the Forst part of CotCT has come out I can only say that the adventure are more city based but not knowing how far the writers are going to go down the horror path it is a more wait and see.
Maybe try a few pathfinder adventures as they can easily be one shot test at different power levels or strung together for your own campaign use.
Hope that helps.
