Yes, it's been mentioned in these threads.. And people here should consider it...

I just ordered the Harrow Deck and the Guide to Korvosa... Paizo packed the deal in shredded paper in a box.. And the UPS gave me the package with a huge dent in the box.. So the Guide to Korvosa is bent and mangled horribly.. So maybe anybody considering their shipping options for future orders.. Spend the extra few bucks for the insurance.. I know I wish I did.

As for the UPS.. To quote from Joe Piscapo (misspelling.. Sorry Joe)..

Insurance up to $100 is included on all UPS shipments. Call 1-800-PICK-UPS.


Note that insurance for stuff over a $100 is pennies on the dollar and I encourage you guys to pony up. I've worked as a courier loading the trucks. Speed is everything, I literally had a supervisor behind me while loading that would scream at the top of his lungs "Faster you f#&#ing pussys" every 10 minutes. I kid you not.

I personally would destroy one or two boxs (out of around 3000) a day. This did not faze my supervisor. I worked hard and was fast - that made me a good employee and got me bonuses. The fact that I would destroy the odd box was just not a factor in this equation with the exception of the material that was specifically marked as being 'high value'. This stuff was loaded last and we were all told to slow way down. For this one part of the job being fast would get the supervisor on your case. So yeah - take my advice and pay a little for insurance.

However, in most cases, the package shipper must file any claims for insurace (at least in my experience with FedEx and DHL).
