Seeking Stats for a Sling-Staff

I can't believe I can't find stats for a stave-sling. Do you know of any sources that have them?

For real-world reference check THIS SITE as well as THIS ONE.

I'd appreciate any sourcebook / splatbook references, but otherwise will make my own.

Well, this source is a blast from the past, but you did say any sources...

First Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Unearthed Arcana, pages 26, 27 and 78. Cost was 2gp. Damage in those days depended on the size of one's opponent--and in this case, also upon whether you are using a sling bullet or a sling stone. A bullet did 2-8 against size S-M and 3-9 against size large. A stone did 1-8 against size S-M and 2-8 against size large.

:-) Actually, their little lacrosse stick has stats in one of the splat-books I found. I'm talking about a genuine sling-staff based on the historical model. I wonder if the Player is thinking of the "Y" staff model ...
