Hey all!
Any of you New York locals or nearbys:
Cruel Theatre's production of "Street Limbo Blues" opens in Manhattan this week!
This play is interactive theatre taken to the streets and is a definite must for anyone who enjoys rpgs!
One actor.
One audience member.
You are the protagonist.
Participate as much or as little as you like,
but your choices have consequences.
Where?: Cafe Pick Me Up - I45 Avenue A (corner of 9th)
For tickets visit theatremania.com or call (212) 352-3101
The play opens March 27 and plays Thu-Sun, every half hour from 7pm - 9pm!
Come check it out! I'm performing in it some nights as well, and I'll be there a lot running box office even on my non-show days.

Whoa! That sounds pretty wild. Cool in a postmodern art way... A question, though... If the point is to have only one audience member, and yet you do these performances in clubs/cafes and what not (or, as the pictures suggest, out on the streets), how can you prevent onlookers.. i.e. multiple audience members?

No one in the place knows a show is going on. Its all very organic and awesome. It is literally a slice of life. It's very intimate and doesn't really attract onlookers...though it could if you choose to make it that way...the actor adapts to WHATEVER you do!
