I actually enjoy seeing these because, when I cancel them, I get to use the word superfluous in a sentence (in our internal subscription notes under "Reason for Cancellation"). Superfluous. Love that word.
As a side note, if we hadn't been alerted to this before the first shipment from your subscription, you still would have only received one Companion. Unless the subscription settings are messed up in a very particular way, our subscriptions are set up in such a way that the second Companion subscription would not have started shipping until the previous one expired (which is a holdover from the old Dungeon and Dragon subscriptions). Since these are ongoing subscriptions, the first would never have expired, so the second would have just sat there indefinitely. However, it is usually a good idea to nuke these superfluous subs because they will activate if the first is canceled and the second is still sitting there.
