All,
I often have a challenging time incorporating the rich religious elements of a new campaign world. I usually start by figuring out various typical sayings specific to followers of a particular deity. For example:
Erastil:
- “Ole’ Deadeye can still see.” – Watch what you do, because even if hidden Erastil will see.
Saranrae:
- “The Dawnflower shine on thee.” – a morning greeting.
- “Seek redemption in the Healing Flame.”
- “May the Everlight bring warmth to your soul.”
- “The scimitar cuts deep.” – justice for a wrong.
Shelyn:
- “Shelyn would turn away” – Reprimanding someone for a lie or some other nastiness.
- “The Lady’s glaive will cut you down.” – watch it, or else!
Desna:
- “By Desna’s wings!”
What have you done in your Golarion campaign to bring out the flavor of the various religions?
Best.

The pantheon of the many in Korvosa, everytime the payers go their I have a different cleric do something iconic of their faith! Like a Gozreh preist bringing out a potted plant and a tub of water and try to teach children about how insignificant and shortlived civilisation is, until the parents worriedly hauled their kids away.
