My PCs have cleared out most of Thistletop and are setting up there, claiming it as their new base of operations. I have a few other claimants in mind who may challenge this, but in the meantime I need to give enough information to the players that they can plan things out and assign rooms and so forth.
The problem is that they haven't realized that there's anything past the gold pillar in the basement. I'd like to give them the maps, but if I hand over the nice professional maps of everything but the basement and use something hand drawn for that then they'll know that something's up.
Do any of you have an edited version of the bottom level of Thistletop that you can send my way? I need areas E8 through E10 to look like solid rock.

I might go a step further and make it so the PCs can't figure out the shape of the island-head. That big blank area might get them thinking. You could sort of cut out the extraneous ares on the map to confuse them, or perhaps make the walls of the dungeon and the water around it somehow indistinguishable on the map.

My players are more familiar with the bottom level than either of the others, since they made three assault trips in through the treasury. They're assuming that it's solid rock, or else they're just not thinking about it. I don't think that I could fool them about that at this point, either way.
Thanks for the idea though!
